What are Dental Implants?
You may not be aware of this, but we have been placing dental implants in our office for about 5 years now.
What Is a Dental Implant?
Basically, a dental implant is an artificial tooth root. Being biocompatible, it integrates into the jaw and becomes a foundation upon which we can build you a new tooth. Unlike a fixed bridge, as we have done in the past, there is no invasive cutting down of the adjacent teeth. The result is an individual tooth which looks and feels natural, and is maintained by routine brushing and flossing.
Ankylos Implants: Affordable Dental Implant System
In our office, we offer the Ankylos implant system – the only one we know of that has NO bone loss following placement of the implants. This technology has come a long way over the years, and is now considered the best option for replacing missing teeth. If you have missing teeth that you have been thinking of replacing, ask us if implants are a good choice for you!
